If you are looking for club sponsored tournaments, official meetings, dues and places to put in your high end bass boat your not going to find it here. What you will find is a group of friends that enjoy fishing, good food and good times. If you still want to become a member contact us by email or the forums here.
Some of the places we fish the true ownership is unknown so you fish them at your own risk.
Lakes, ponds, canals, pits, creeks, ditches, we fish them all. Fresh or brackish. We fish for whatever will bite and release most of what we catch. We have places to bank fish and locations that are more suited for a kayak or jon boat.
At the top of this page is a menu for locations.
We are here to share information. If you have any questions contact us on the Forum or at puntagordabassclub@gmail.com
Anything from where to park to what should I try: No questions go unanswered.
The very top picture is Webb Lake and it is open to the public
Roland Martin has a YouTube channel that he posts videos on twice a week. Some of these videos show him fishing South Florida from the bank and jon boats and even wade fishing for bass! This is recommended watching. You never know you might just learn something.
This is a local legend when it comes to bait shops but it was lost to a fire caused by a car accident. They have reopened at:
Fishin' Franks Bait & Tackle 941-625-3888
4200 unit P Tamiami Trail Port Charlotte 33952
They have a lot of info on their site. Check out their "Where to fish map pages", saltwater mostly but still good info.
This is a sort of tackle liquidation place so inventory is always changing. They often have big name gear at the lowest prices. Enter *.* in search to see everything they have.
